I do, I do not, and sometimes i cannot stand the idea. :)
More often, they are worn outside the house, but keeping the heat lower and layering up has been helpful on the utility bills. Normally sweatshirts for me in the house.
Turns out there's a scholarly article that relates to this subject, not sure if it's helpful but interesting nonetheless.

*not a deal*
Must be an interesting idea to go a list a jacket like this at a price 2.5X higher than my first car.
It's nice but $5000 !!!
Details only are "size S" and "Vtg 50s Sears Hercules Horsehide Leather Moto Jacket Size S Punk Harley Davidson"

Edward said --Funny thing, my biggest gripe about getting older is I was looking forward to feeling the cold more, but if anything I'm finding it's the heat is getting harder and harder to deal with every year...
Golly that could be it's own thread Edward! Most people in the US want to move...
There is no such thing as over-kill here. I would far rather be a little warm, and stay warm for longer especially in windy conditions, then be cool/cold and get colder quicker. However I agree having choices is optimal.
Everyone has different body heat needs and sensitivity. My hands get...
So I do not know much about the zipper, Photo2u is a great source for this knowledge.
That's one very neat jacket and the wear, patina etc on this jacket could have only been built one way - wear, love, and life.
As others have said - I do hope it can stay in your family. It's a treasure of...
Here's one you don't see every day, may interest the Motorcycle fans in this group. "R. S. Performance Protection" Chest 43-44, Waist 38-40. Looks very thick & protective, with some cool late '80's vibe going too. $150 or offer...

I hope it's to your liking.
It was mentioned earlier, but I think a Vanson Comet would suit you very well. Vanson does quite a bit with short jackets in several of their models. Older ones had a 22" back length (in a size 44) so if you contact them I'm sure they would happy supply you one...

They have several options.
How long have you owned the Semi-Dress? Have you done a "PNW-break in" with these?
Once fully broken in they are very comfortable.
This is from Nicks - same basic boot, but shows the correct way to break in these boots...
It's a copy/clone of this jacket that they are much more well known for. I own one of these waxed cotton rider's jacket:

I'll stick with my waxed cotton for this style.
Really nice jacket there and great first post @JohnnyKnuckles
Welcome to Fedora Lounge! Looks like you will be contributing some great material here with your reviews, and yes, the point you make about the "no wind drag" on a motorcycle is for sure a real thing. I didn't have a true CR when I...
Cool thread idea!
Sometime in college I read in one of the countless books I reviewed of a man who had determined to wear the exact same thing every single day. As I recall his dress consisted of black patent leather shoes, black socks, a black pin stripe suit, a white dress shirt and a tie...
Catch & Release here on a nice lighter weight cowhide Al's leather CHP crosszip. Purchased from another FL member, simply a little short for me in both torso & sleeves, so moving it along.
Well kept, no rips or tears, lining in excellent shape. Has shoulder epaulettes, YKK #10 main zip...
Thanks - however the two in stock are "E" width. :(
I am a very good fit in 12D of these, I very crazily "sold" a pair I ordered through Baker's a couple years back due to a slightly odd "walk" on carpet trying them on in my house.
Maybe I'll risk the "E" as I understand they tend to run...
As the title indicates, I am looking for a nearly new or new pair of 12D Wesco Mr. Lou's.
Prefer black or very dark brown.
I know this is a needle in a haystack, but thought I would ask.
Would also consider well broken in for the right price, but ideally closer to new/not fully broken in...
