I added some WW2-era speed limit and Victory Garden signs to the layout: I also took a 1/43 scale Chevy 1941 pickup truck model and modified it to better look right for the timeframe. I painted over the whitewalls, dulled down the finish, added period-correct license plate and even a scale gas...- p51

Replica WW2 US Visor Caps
As for the shape of a crusher, I'll never forget what a 91st BG B-17 navigator vet told me. He said the next guys put their caps on a round dome and poured av gas over it, then let it dry! I would highly suggest against this, but it was something I'd never read anywhere before... -

We just got our new pup yesterday, crossbreed between a poodle and a dachshund. All tiny and SO cute. Meet Sweet Pea! We had to put down our beloved dachshund Charlie a year and a half ago and my wife decided it as time to get a pup again. I think she made the right call. I love her already!- p51

Over the weekend, I stripped off what never looked like a realistic walkway to the back of the Buladeen, TN depot. I scraped out a realistic path, then laid in some real soil from the area I model, added static grass and I think it looks much better than before...- p51
