    There are quite varying opinions on that one. I threw a goatskin jacket into the washing machine once & it lost a lot of the colour & had accelerated wear on the high points. I wouldn't ever do it again.

    Aero CR too tight

    It 'should' be possible to exchange the side panels to allow for a little more room. Although this approach does have its limitations, obviously. Probably no more than +1" on either side. Aero (or Carrie) are the ones to advise on your specific jacket though.
