No, I'm not sure at all.
I love the jacket & it now fits like a glove. If I were just 1.5" wider across the body, it'd be perfect.
It works well open, just not zipped.
Oh well, the relentless pursuit of the perfect fit continues.......
Well Fonzie, I'm very late to the party here & can only echo the positive comments that have already been made.
The deletion of the kidney panel only refers to removing the external piece, unless specifically agreed to something different. I asked for no kidney panel on my sheene & have exactly...

Great story Super, thanks for sharing.
I'd love to get a Schott to compliment the others in my closet. Like you, I haven't really sensed a negative tone towards the brand.
Perhaps towards some of their more fashion focused items available in high street fashion stores, but certainly not their...
Ok, we're probably a little bit mad around here, but I was wondering;
What is it about quality leather jackets that compels you to research, hunt, debate, discuss, acquire & wear these things?

Congrats on a brilliant order, I think you've nailed it. It reminds me of my zip sleeve highwayman from the early '90s.

I'm a youthful 40 year old who doesn't wear hats, so far.
I am however getting to the point where I really am starting to appreciate blocking the sun from my head & face.
I've been browsing the Akubra site (being in Australia), but they...

Trading doesn't have to mean any realised loss.
Oh yes, do come over and look at two very heavy leather jackets in the midst of Sydney's hottest summer in over 150 years!!!
You never know, it may actually be below 40oC on that day.....
Couldn't agree more.
The zippers on the hand warmers are really a bad idea - unless of course you are using the jacket to ride in, then they are a good idea to prevent the loss of whatever you may store in there.
I also agree with the functionality of the gussets. There is a little more wiggle...
