Custom Aero, the trigger has been pulled

No, I'm not sure at all. I love the jacket & it now fits like a glove. If I were just 1.5" wider across the body, it'd be perfect. It works well open, just not zipped. Oh well, the relentless pursuit of the perfect fit continues.......

Custom Aero, the trigger has been pulled

Well Fonzie, I'm very late to the party here & can only echo the positive comments that have already been made. The deletion of the kidney panel only refers to removing the external piece, unless specifically agreed to something different. I asked for no kidney panel on my sheene & have exactly...

“Well, now you have met the owner of Schott . . .”

Great story Super, thanks for sharing. I'd love to get a Schott to compliment the others in my closet. Like you, I haven't really sensed a negative tone towards the brand. Perhaps towards some of their more fashion focused items available in high street fashion stores, but certainly not their...

What is it about quality leather jackets...?

Ok, we're probably a little bit mad around here, but I was wondering; What is it about quality leather jackets that compels you to research, hunt, debate, discuss, acquire & wear these things? For me, I have always loved the idea of a highly skilled craftsperson hand-making an item that is...

65F is too warm for jackets in February

I'm with Seb on this. We're just coming off the hottest summer since records were started some 150+ years ago. I'm so freaking over summer. I've been staring at my jackets trying to remember what it was like when it was cool enough to wear them......

    My New Custom Premier Highwayman!

What a 'Mo bro! The jacket is pretty special too. I love the eyelets detail on the side straps. Congrats on a brilliant order, I think you've nailed it. It reminds me of my zip sleeve highwayman from the early '90s.

Ask a question, get an answer

Hey there, I'm a regular over in the Outerwear section. I'm a youthful 40 year old who doesn't wear hats, so far. I am however getting to the point where I really am starting to appreciate blocking the sun from my head & face. I've been browsing the Akubra site (being in Australia), but they...

Aero Board Racer Comparison Size 40 v 42

In Sydney, how often do you really zip it up? A grand down the tube is a fair bit to loose. I say hang on to them both, or put it out there for an interesting trade item. A jacket style that you don't yet have covered. Trading doesn't have to mean any realised loss.

    Another sheene

Well, it's been around 113 for three days straight in Sydney..... So over summer right now

    Another sheene

Oh yes, do come over and look at two very heavy leather jackets in the midst of Sydney's hottest summer in over 150 years!!! You never know, it may actually be below 40oC on that day.....

    Another sheene

Couldn't agree more. The zippers on the hand warmers are really a bad idea - unless of course you are using the jacket to ride in, then they are a good idea to prevent the loss of whatever you may store in there. I also agree with the functionality of the gussets. There is a little more wiggle...

    Another sheene

@ProtienNerd I also have both. You're welcome to check them out in person to physically 'see' the differences if you would like............
