A not soo average male lounger needs your hair opinions

I doubt not that you could pull it off, but I would say that the current color is most complimentary to you. And just as an aside, you're not related to Tony Jaa by any chance, are you? ;)

Best Performance In A Vintage Film

In addition to all of the above, I would like to add Gary Cooper as seen in Sergeant York and the Great War and Meet John Doe.

    Vintage Sunglasses

Ironically, I just received a pair of these today, in bronze: http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Lightweight-Polarized-Aviator-Sunglasses/dp/B000AORN1K/ref=sr_1_1/103-8581180-5826240?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1178737141&sr=8-1 For the price, they are excellent. Good thick glass, solid frames, and...

    A cautionary tale...

Gadzooks, that looks awful. Time to take the glass of the Hatphone and call one of our superhatters eh?

    Don't buy from Dockers.

Odd; the best pair of khaki dress pants that I own came from Dockers.

    The Third Man on TCM

And while you're at it, watch the man himself play it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=gFz79SBnuk8

    Relax...dont do it?

Personally, I aim to always be active, in mind if not in body. Action in repose; being still and getting rest, but ready for anything that might come up.

A breakdown of Fedora Loungers by sex, location, age and marital status

Male living in a small town near Pensacola, Florida, aged 17, eccentric and single. I'm lucky when people I've known for 10 years know I'm in the room, so I don't expect to be snatched up any time soon. lol

do you sometimes feel like a freak?

If I walk around with a vintage or classic look, I never feel like a freak for long, because within the first five minutes of being out, a gaggle of boxer shorts-clad loafers in their thong sandles and Family Guy t-shirts walks by and reminds me that I stand for class, and not mediocrity.

    First Initial, Middle Name

    R. Steven right here. I've gone by my middle name my whole life; though I've never had that sort of trouble with it.

    The Movies and Black hats

Too dark. Have a look at my avatar, the hat is silver-gray but comes out much darker in a well-lit environment with even exposure.

    The Movies and Black hats

Being shot in monochrome, they probably avoided them for aesthetic reasons.

I guess this means I can hold my nose and not blow out my ears now? ;)

    How Many of us Write?

I've been working on a manuscript for about a year and a half now, a period adventure story written in the vein of Haggard and Doyle. I recently started writing articles too, my first being hosted on The Fedora Chronicles as of now.

    Spaces that need filling.

Have you ever walked past a street or a building where you imagined Bogie or James Cagney coming around a corner, yet there were no fedoras in sight? If you captured them on camera, show them here! Here's my entry:

    The Prestige

Stage actors definitely have an advantage in that area, you can't do two takes for a stage scene. As to Brando, it fitted his persona and the roles he chose incredibly well to talk softly and slightly slurred. As to the likes of Bale, with the diversity of his roles, the mumbling doesn't...

    Today's Classic Films

    M. Night Shyamalan's early work might go down as classics in some circles. He could quite possibly be the new Hitchcock if he applied himself to the task.

    Documentaries

One of my favorites is th NOVA documentary on "Hitler's Lost Sub," the lost U-Boat that was found off the coast of New England. It was amazing.
