Hadn't seen this, really nice pics, thanks for sharing! :)
When it comes to using leather jackets, they are my default outerwear jacket. I wear them everywhere, from groceries to meetings. From walks in the park to travelling. And it works.
The leathertog pattern have a lot of details that are easy to miss, I wouldn't attempt it myself even though I own the LW model and can examine it at leisure.
Edit: you can certainly get a jacket with 2 rows of snaps, but it will be difficult for it to look close to a leathertogs...
I can confirm it is special on the bike, it is my favourite LW while riding, just works better than the others for that. But I do also wear it walking, it just such a nice jacket :)
@Mich486 , I think it has grown in with most people. When I first saw it, I didn't like it at all, but with time...
Oups, missed that word. Yes, it was indeed to be expected :)
I have never dealt with Thurston Bros, but they do have a reputation for getting the fit very close to the customer's requirements.
I can add that Theo is really impressive at getting a good fit, I have never given him any other...
Glad to see you are looking at the next step! :D
Flat head are known for having difficult shoulder to chest ratio, so it was bound not to work for you. On the other hand, you were succesfull with RMC, I suspect you would be able to fit in one of their crosszips.
I was thinking about it today...
