Does anybody know the waist measurement on the 618's? Can't seem to dig it up anywhere, even found an email Gail at Schott had sent to a customer who inquired. Their actual size chart doesn't even include the waist measurement. Trying to determine waist size on a size 42 618HH.
The back showing seems to be a problem regardless of the riding position. I wear levi's 501 STF's with a high rise and ride a Road Star 1600 w/ 14 inch ape hangers so I'm very upright but the problem still persists, likely due to the apes. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's enough...
Both hilarious and accurate. I'm certainly sitting somewhere around a 2.5, having worn that 613 for a full year and loving it with a t shirt but starting to envy the bigger jackets for functionality. I ride with an MC so in the summertime we're all over the place from event to event and this...
Can definitely respect that.
I actually love the bootlegger and if I didn't ride I'd probably own one as well.
Seems that's my biggest problem actually, I love the way a nice fitting leather jacket looks, then it drops to 0 degrees outside and -15 with the windchill at speed and I'm...
Haha I had actually left the shirt out so that it would create a contrast to show where the jacket ended, can't win. I'm actually considering the 618HH and the 118 still. Believe it or not I actually started my pursuit for the perfect jacket by ordering a 118 in size 40 on ebay. I kept it for a...
Unfortunately this is a limited edition jacket which is no longer available in size 40 so it's not an option. All I want is a 118 in horsehide honestly, this was the closest thing but I think I'm gonna have to either live with it or go back to cowhide in size 40
Hey guys, jacket finally arrived. Love the horsehide material, love the D pocket, but I fear that the jacket may be too big. I can't tell if it's that or just that it's too stiff as it's brand new. Honestly starting to wonder if Schott makes anything that fits athletic people (big chest small...
Still blows my mind that with two black versions and a brown version, all of which are sold out save for three sizes in the most recent black version, I can't find a single person on any forum with a picture of them wearing the jacket!
I just want to see how it looks when on someone. If...
They did a few of these I believe the first was a 1928 model which was black but had a slimmer cut and I believe no bi swing back. the next was a brown vintage oiled leather which was a slimmer but longer cut and had unusually slim arms for the chest size. also the sizing was small medium large...
Hahah that will happen. If it's a Harley it's gonna leave you stranded a few times. I have a 2000 road star for breaking in jackets in the event of ironhead malfunction. It's necessary you see because I have no dog
Id definitely agree that it's a cruiser jacket. I think it would look very out of place on a street bike. But I'm on a 73 kick only ironhead so I won't have that problem haha.
Also would love to see some fit pics, my jacket arrives tomorrow (weather permitting, Boston is getting covered) and I will post pics but my personal opinion is that new leather jackets look like **** all stiff and unbroken in so id love to see pics of how it turns into.
Also, to the guy who...
Good to know! I couldn't ever see myself ripping apart a new jacket to remove a liner, nice knowing I'm not the only one who wasn't so bothered by it haha.
Hey Damo,
I am selling the 613, I'd pm you details but I couldn't find a message option. It's up on ebay now but I'm not certain of the forum rules regarding that so I'll wait before posting. Don't want this thread to get deleted/locked etc.
Message me though if you know how haha
Hi All,
First post here and very excited to be a part of the forum!
Just purchased a Schott Black Stallion today after some intense research on the jacket. Seems that as it was produced by Schott as a private label for Legendary, info on it is limited as are reviews from those who...
