Come to the North Of England, BK.
There are whole f***ing tribes of 'em.
Believe me, you would not want to be mistaken for one of them:eeek::D;)
Not wearing Crocs, obviously. That WOULD be absurd......
I know what you are saying Fanch, but this (cuffed jeans and "doc martens")is a uniform in the UK - and in general, it infers (i.e a badge) a degree of extreme politics.
Guys is shorted cuffed jeans and big boots will often either be left-wing socios who believe Thatcher should have been...
That's cool. But in the UK - ten to a dozen wearing that look - and they ARE ex-skins.....
Keep out of Millwall, mate. Head kicked in for sure :eeek::D;)
OK, here we go. Time for an disagreement......
This is EXACTLY the look I do my very best to avoid....
Crumpled legs (cause the jeans are too long) over big "hobnailed" boots.
The look (in the UK) just screams EX SKINHEAD - the perpetrator will probably have (an illegal) Pit Bull Terrier in...
The look I try to avoid is the "ageing skinhead". So no big round toed boots and slightly too short cuffed jeans.
Oh, and obviously, not Crocs!!:eeek::D;)
BTW, here's the main thread on this:

Please forgive the poor pic, but a few folks have asked about my A2, so here is a bit of a close up.
In fact, a guy asked me, a couple of weeks ago, if it was an original WW2 jacket, which, considering I bought it brand new from Ken Calder just two months ago, is good going!
Here we are...
Hi alsendk
The stuff you mentioned - Brooklyn, Seattle etc, are all current Lee designs.
All the stuff I mentioned are Lee Japan repros (not available from regular Lee outlets). You'll find most of them on Aero's denim page. I will, however, post you some pics in the next day or so:D;)
Michael at the Denim Doctor will do a great job, but you will be wasting your money. That snag is not gonna get worse for at least another couple of years. And when it does, it will ADD to the patina of your jeans.
All Michael can do is over stitch the snag, which will make it more visible. Not...
Here is an up to date (non-flash) pic:
Actually, it was too hot for an A2 today, so here is what I was actually wearing.....
A 24MJZ, from around 1963, the very last gasp of the zipped jean jacket from Wrangler. Possibly a little mundane to you guys in the U.S., but a little special here in...
A bit of both. It started out much lighter than it is now, so I guess the flash picks up the underlying colour. But darker in natural light.
If it stops raining tomorrow, I'll take a daylight pic:D;)
