No..... I'm just the guy who bought one. NO such claims have EVER been made by me. I played around with designs suggested by other FLer's. Show me where I claimed "credit".
I guess READING & UNDERSTANDING wasn't part your "teacher training".......:D;)
No, my friend. You have sufficed in fitting in perfectly with the level of pomp that I know certain folks can aspire to. You must get vertigo on such a high plane:D;)
PS. I still think (despite the views of folks obviously far superior to me) that the positioning of those pockets is...
And you are SO obviously not "some people", are you:D;)

EDIT. You're a teacher! It explains it all.:eusa_clap:eusa_clap
FREAKY - so tell me, just how do you feel that YOU have been involved in the development of a design that was COMPLETED in the the 1920's. Pardon my French - but that is utter self ingratiating boll*x.
Copying a pre-existing design does not involve "development".......Hello??[huh]
So buy a crappy (there is it again, Andrew) jacket, JUST because it is period correct? Yeah, right. Makes perfect sense.
The other BK jacket posted tonite looks very cool, but sorry Mr Falzon - move the pockets on this one:eusa_doh:
I like 'em, but that's beside the point.
If "functionality" was more important than style, then few of us would be here...... we'd all be wearing hi-vis donkey jackets::eeek:
I guess the guy on the right bought his from Primark ( in the "correctly positioned pocket" section.....):D;)
So they were ALWAYS wrongly placed???[huh]
Give me ONE good reason why a design faux pas should be repeated.... ("period correct" doesn't count.....):D;)
EDIT: Thinking about this, I have seen LOADS of A1s without this odd pocket placement - were they ALL incorrect????
TWO (count 'em) posts from the OP re NEW BK jackets......
When I do that, the word SHILL tends to get used.
Perish the thought:D;)
PS. the pockets look like they are falling off the bottom of the jacket........AWFUL....
These are two completely different jackets. Why should one replace the other? That makes NO sense. Both are excellent styles (clue = buy MORE THAN ONE jacket - isn't that what we usually do?;)).:D
So is this pic a sample, or the vintage piece they are trying to reproduce? (I reckon it is the former).....
A very tidy design - I look forward to seeing production samples - and I agree with Breton - needs to be short:D;)
The dry "stretching" takes place when fibres tightened up by the heat are stretched out - purely by pressure from your body. That is, of course, assuming that the waist is now too tight. If it is not tight, it will not be subject to pressure, and will NOT stretch again.
As I said, applying the...
I'm with you on the Lees, Mr B, although I find it tends to affect the 23oz ones more than the 14oz ones (they do, after all, have more to lose when washed - although many would disagree;)).
As you say, any shrinkage on the waist will be pushed back out by your gut if too tight after...
