Yes Dave I went with the storm cuffs as this was going to be my new primary winter jacket. I like having the storm cuffs and don't find them annoying. I have some pretty large watches and the cuffs don't really interfere with them either. I love everything about the jacket except, like most...
Lucky guy I was quoted 8 weeks and it took 6 1/2 months! Well worth it though. Mine is in horsehide but your goat looks very comfortable. This is my first Aero and I love it. The smell of Aero's hh is so much better than any other leather I own.

My brother owns a cascade in goat.. I agree it is very nice stuff. It's heavy enough to feel like a real moto jacket while not being too heavy. After handling it I'd definitely consider goat if I ever got the urge for another Langlitz.
Wow.. been a while since I've been on. I can't believe I missed a whole Langlitz thread! Here are some reposts of pics of mine...
First pic is medium weight cow (still very heavy). Second pic is heavyweight cow.
Jan, I agree.. one of the things that kept me from ordering another Schott or Legendary was the felt they fused to the horsehide. As soon as I found out Legendary requested no more felt I jumped at the chance. You have a great jacket collection.. been admiring it on here since I joined.

In the Suburban's defense, if I'm just walking around the jacket fits fine and looks even better... but any other movement and it's terrible. When it was new I emailed Stu about it and he assured me the jacket would loosen up considerably and feel much better.. and next thing I new the jacket...
Warning: This is a thread about a guy who purchased a jacket other than an Aero.. I know you guys love Aero over here... so please try not to kill me. ;)
So I did it... I've been eyeing Legendary's Black Stallion for a couple of years now, and a few months ago when I saw it offered in...
Thanks for the input guys. HD - thanks for letting me know about how short the cut is. That would definitely bother me and if I went with the KOR I'd add to the length. It's almost as if every model Aero ever made has passed through your hands at one time!
Edward, Aero's brown definitely...
So I'm back at it again.. trying to decide if I should get another motorcycle jacket. Over the past two years I've had to talk myself out of buying a Legendary (Schott) Black Stallion hh jacket. I love the old Buco D-pocket look, and I'd much rather pay the $600 or so for the Legendary rather...
My wife always gets annoyed when we're walking through a department store and I always feel the need to check out every "name brand" leather jacket on the rack... and trash it. There are so many high dollar Polo, Diesel, etc leather jackets out there that are $1000+, paper thin and made in...
I agree with HD.. the Ace Cafe jacket pictured above would make a nice MC jacket (I'd also add the bi-swing). And it would look great in Aero's cordovan color.
As far as the LW Suburban is concerned, I have one and wish I never bought it. The cut of the jacket and lack of a bi-swing restrict...
Man am I tired of the "Wannabe badass biker look" at so many motorcycle rallies (such as the guys in your first pic). But I gotta agree with these other guys.. why would you by a biker jacket if you don't exactly want that look? Do you ride?

I own two pairs of Wescos, the first being an off-the-rack size and the second being custom-fit. The off-the-rack size is dead on for me. I take an 11EE in most boots and the Wesco 11EE fits me perfectly. VERY comfortable. I had several issues with the custom-fit pair and they eventually had...
I have the LHB, and although the jacket is near perfect, in a perfect world I wish it had a leather kidney panel because I can see this part of the lining wearing through quickly. The only other thing I would like changed is the cut of the armholes. As they are now the arms are slightly...
I've got two Langlitz jackets and yes their lengths are just fine. Since the buyer supplies their own measurements, anything wrong with the sizing is usually customer error. I had one made at the belt line and one two inches longer.
Hey Jim, I own a few of brands you mentioned. I have a Schott 641 in HH, which is very similar to the 689 but without the full collar, and while the construction is great I don't think the hh even compares to my Aero. I find the Schott hh to be a little spongy or plastic feeling, even after...
From pictures the regular Half Belt looks like it ends right around the belt line. My Long Half Belt comes about 4 inches below the belt. Either way you're going to love it!

Hey Tony.. yeah I felt like the jacket was too big at first, and then I really sinched in the side straps and voila.. the fit felt right on. It contours to my body better and doesn't look as huge. At least now I know that if I gain a few pounds the jacket has the room to grow with me.

Jack, now that I think about it I remember hearing that Schott might discontinue the textile version of the Easy Rider. Maybe they have already? If you are really interested my Victory shop had some left over last time I was there.. you can phone them up. Google "Rollin Fast Cycle Sports" in...
