Supposedly shipping this week. BK Surrogate in Dark Seal Liberty. 16 weeks in so far. Haven't purchased a new leather jacket in a long time. Looking forward to it's arrival.
Man... the more I see this jacket, and know how great Langlitz fit... the more I want it. If I didn't have something on the way I think this one wouldda been it.
Yeah it's been a pretty chilly April and May up here in Jersey... definitely got some extended use out of my jackets! Mostly wore my Wested Indy, which crazy enough is probably the most comfortable leather jacket I own, not to mention the cheapest and least customized. Funny how that worked...
Wow, yeah man..been a long time! And that LHB...just sold it this week! Glad to hear mine might've helped you get a jacket you love. The older I got, the heavier and more cumbersome the LHB got.. and I stopped wearing it.
Been a long ass time since I've had a jacket on order. But I've recently re-entered the madness...
Bill Kelso Surrogate. Liberty Dark Seal. 12-18 week lead time. I barely even remembered how to order a jacket.
Apologies for the cheesy mean-mugging for the camera. Seriously, it's embarrassing. Anyway...just looking at some old pics and here's the Cascade from this thread last season on the tv show Blindspot. Wardrobe tried to give me a crappy mall jacket and I was like no way, I've got something...
Just posted this puppy up on eBay...never gets any use anymore...

Been giving the brown hh Legendary Wild Stallion some love recently. It's been locked away in storage for years. Probably going to sell it.. but wanted to get a few more wears in during our chilly spring here in NJ.
You know, for the first time ever I googled Langlitz Cascade last week to show a buddy what they look like, and I was shocked to see my two cascades pop up as much as they did! Funny stuff. And thank you for the kind words.
Ha that's great! What did you end up going with? I have another Cascade in their original pattern in dark brown heavy cow, and while I like the dark brown better than the rust, it still lacks pop (excellent motorcycle jacket though).
I'm not sure if I've ever dedicated a full thread to my straight-zip Cascade, and since I've recently had a little work done to it I figured I might as well post about it.
Back in 2007 I took delivery of a modified Cascade with a straight zipper, cafe racer collar, 'hidden' elbow pads from...
Really awesome jacket. They just posted a very old one similar to it in brown on their Instagram account. I really like the look... nice work!
And it took me two tries to get it right, too. The first one I ordered was the perfect on-motorcycle jacket, but for my second I made some of my own...
