Thanks, Steve. Once the hat arrived I was able to locate the G.A. of Dunn & Co on the liner and sweatband leading me to think this hat is earlier than originally thought. That and the JHS label seems to be a scalloped configuration as opposed to the squared labels on the post war Tonak.
Its an earlier production jacket which Mark says was made to measure.
Comes pretty close to a size 40 though:
Chest: 21 1/2”
Shoulder: 18”
Sleeve: 25”
Back: 24 1/2”

Just scored this early horse hide Norshor off the bay for $300. It is my first from Mr. Fisher but hopefully not the last. A pattern I've not seen before - civilian A-2 with D pocket.
Per the OP this thread is about the leather jackets in the film and who might have made them. Not about opinions on the film director.
The jackets look period but I'm sure they're customs. Having said that, how about re-railing this thread with a period jacket that looks like it could have...
