I managed to stretch the sleeves on a vintage horsehide Halfbelt and gained 1/2". Soaked the leather right through with warm water then hung it up on a padded hanger, the trick was then to fill two large plastic pop bottles with water and slide them down the arm holes until they wedged at the...
When I have enough time in the morning, this is me: Edwin Jagger DE & Badger, Astra Platinum blades and my all time favourite TOBS cream 'Mr Taylors' - just love the smell of this stuff!
I'm not really qualified to comment here as I've never owned an A-2, but I do appreciate the appeal and the style - I might even be tempted myself one day. That being said, if I ever do get into the A-2 thing, I'd want a trim fit rather than a baggy one any day. I'd say yours is about right.

Edward - I've no idea what the full retail would've been on this...
Sloan1874, Superfluous, HD, ton312, Monitor, pawinguy - Thank you gentlemen. I've had more than my share of eBay disappointments, especially vintage half belts, this will probably be a keeper.
technovox - the back pleat works a treat, like my Pioneer. The buttons on the cuff straps look...

I'm up for a bargain with the best of them but, given how leather readily absorbs odours from its environment, I would want to know exactly where theses jackets were stored and for how long. I've had some bad experiences buying jackets from the homes of smokers and those that store jackets in...
