I'm wearing an old half worn-out hat I've had for close to 20 years, and my little grandson Sam is wearing his "Indy Jones" hat. That child is like me; he won't go outside without a hat.
I've been out doing some hiking today and had on my M-1902 campaign hat. I've had this hat almost a year now, and use it whenever I hit the woods. It's just now beginning to get "broken in" properly.
Replacing the gearshift control rod bushing turned out to be a snap. I ordered the part from Burnbam on Monday and got it in today's mail. It was a little difficult to get it into place, but once in everything works fine.
Looks like I'm back on the road again.
I keep coming back to this thread because I sure do like "the look" Renault has developed.
Here I am a couple years ago (well, ok, about 35 years ago). I sure do wish I could recreate that look - in more ways than one.
The one holding on so tight is my 7 year old granddaughter. I have taken care of her since she was born. We have a very special relationship. It was fortunate that she was born the same year that I retired. That allowed me to spend time with her that, unfortunately, I was not able to with...
Here's a hat I don't wear that often. Not because I don't like it, but because I like it so much and don't want to wear it out.
I've had this hat for several years. I got it from Miller, and they used to list it as the "Chicago" hat. I liked it so much that I ordered another one in gray, but...
There's always something ...
I started the old '48 Plymouth today, grabbed the shifter to put it in gear and the shifter just flopped in my hand. I raised the hood, and just as I suspected, the graeshifter control rod bushing had finally gave out. The shifter control rod was just lying there...
Today it was my old standby VS hat I've had for close to 10 years. I had this hat made as an almost identical copy of a hat my Grandfather had in 1928.
I got this Jaxon crushable wool hat a while back. It's nothing fancy or expensive, but it is very comfortable to wear and a hat I don't mind getting a lot of hard use from.
