I was looking through some old pictures today and thought this one might be appropriate for this thread. This is me almost 40 years ago. I'd like to get "that look" back (in more than one way) again.
I got a new suit the other day and wore it to church for the first time today. It's a lightweight, tan wool. I had it made for me by Ravis Tailors, who have been making suits for me for about 15 years now.
Thanks for the compliment about my little grandson. He's a cutie pie (and he knows it), and a bit of a ham at times. :)
You are right about me not posting in a while. No particular reason, just being a slackard I suppose. I'll try to do better.
Today is a milestone of sorts in the history of the house where we live. It was 100 years ago today, on 30 March 1917, that the Deed was signed buying this house.

Heading out to church this morning with my old standby VS hat I've had for close to 10 years now.
And later this afternoon on a hike, it was my M1902 campaign hat.
