It’s funny how a 3 inch brim can seem small, but the way these are shaped make them look and feel smaller. I haven’t worn mine yet, but I think I will enjoy it as a casual hat. -

Part 2 (site wouldn’t allow any more photos in the previous post) Embroidered liner, stars in the logo. The original box was included, and it came from the same store that my first OR did. -

Just when I thought I was in remission with my H.A.S… The felt is sooooo light and thin, yet it readily holds any crease. The only flaws I can see are a couple of dark blue streaks that almost look like ballpoint pen marks, but I think they are actually color streaks in the felt. -

Stetson Playboy. I was excited to get this one. The color rendering is off; it’s a very light grey with a bluish tint, and the ribbon is a shiny, silvery grey. I’ll try to get a better representation to post in the Playboys on Parade thread. The liner is embroidered and flawless. Stars on... -

Update: In response to my email inquiry, Tim apologised and said there had been an error in their stock count at the time of my order. He offered to let me switch to a silverbelly campdraft which was in stock, or if I couldn’t wait 6 months, to cancel. Since bluegrass green is hard to get at... -

It’s been 30 days since ordering, and so far, nothing. The site said “leaves warehouse in one business day“ when I ordered, and my invoice says the same. Now the site says there is a 6 month wait. I may be caught in between the last stock item and a made to order hat. -
