Best bet might be a trip to UnionGarageNYC in Red Hook, Brooklyn - motorcycle gear & apparel store, look them up online. Probably the only store that sells LW this side of Japan. That too they usually only stock the Easy-Ryder cafe jacket, so perhaps call before heading there. I special ordered...
Peacoat, that's my approach as well. I prefer my leather to my textile jackets for riding too, and weather-permitting that's what I usually end up going for. I too find the Schott 141 a versatile mc jacket as I can wear it for long distance riding (with armored shirt underneath) as well as wear...
Another guy here planning for a Langlitz in the near future. Yeah, those Japanese sites and instagram pages are something else aren't they? Saw the Deaths Head Cascade on one of those pages and that's top of my list now - either that or the Sidewinder.
Thought I was the only one not too happy with my Aero zippers! Have to fiddle around a bit with them, get them aligned properly, before I can pull them up. Very difficult with moto gloves on. Like others, I find myself wishing they were a size or two bigger. Whole another world with the zippers...
Great looking Bullet you got there! Really like the military look. Thanks for sharing. Mine in the pic is the basic/standard Bullet 500 with the new unit construction engine, but running carburetor instead of fuel injection. I used to have an iron-barrel Enfield too, an old beat-up 350cc model...
Daayum!!! Big J telling it like it is! The above and more! I've practiced a bit of Budo arts, read most of the English language stuff on the subject and am glad never got around to read Nitobe, got ever more disinclined to read it when I heard similar comments as yours from other Budo folks...
Awesome jacket! Love it. And looking forward to the fit pics too. And I likedyour Lewis Leathers jacket too - thanks for sharing the link to that thread. On my want-list now!
Yup, that;s my Royal Enfield - looks a bit worse off now after several multiple-day off-road riding trips. Hoping to add another bike to the stable soon. Let's see what's that gonna be, not as many options over here as in North America or Europe.
Wish I could bro, but sadly this jacket is now halfway round the world in the high mountains of South Asia. I had picked up the two tone oxblood/black colored one. My brother got a big kick seeing Roland Sands wearing this same color-combo Ronin while test-riding the new BMW RnineT in videos and...
Might be - Carrie posted these same pics on the Insurrection thread some months ago. Thought I'd throw them on here as well - I always enjoy checking out other's jacket pics, pretty sure others might feel the same :)
Thanks man. Yeah, I have way more jackets than I need right now. Recently...
I bought the Ronin some time ago but the fit was a bit off for me, medium was too small and large was just a bit too big, so it now resides in my brother's closet. It's a nice enough riding jacket, stylish and with option to add armor, same with some of the others I've checked out - the Pagnol...

Hey I was wearing my Vanson Enfield in octagon leather while out for lunch today as well. This jacket is a roomy fit and my go-to colder weather leather jacket as I can layer properly underneath. Initially I thought it might be a bit too big for me, but after wearing it a bit it's breaking in...
Another big Vanson fan here, upto six jackets from them and counting! I'm with pawineguy, I too wear armored shirts underneath my non-armored leather jackets - Vanson Chopper, Enfield, Lost Worlds Buco Rider, Schott 141, 118, etc. And the same brands too, Bohn and Knox! And yes, I think Knox is...
^^^ FarWalker, great write up and photos! Thanks for sharing. My Beckmans took forever to break in too, way longer than my Iron Rangers, which didn't need much, if any breaking in. I really like the looks of the Beckman but have been a bit hesitant to get another pair due to the long & painful...
