Hello,
Can someone help me out and tell me, who is admin here in this forum? Seems like my entire thread was deleted or moved, but I didn't get any notifications about it. I don't want to behave wrong, and want to know, what went wrong.
Regards,
Arne
90 US-Dollar.
The wool holds the bash not very well only from steam. But I guess, it will hold the bash, when worn and kinked.
For a soft bash - soft pinch creases - it works from the beginning. For sharper kinks, sharper creasing.... It should take time.
Oh, I think, I will avoid snow and rain with this one. This will be a dinner-night-hat. Nothing for outdoors.
Bashing this wool-felt was weird by the way. Wool doesn't respond like fur felt to steam, and it's way more soften...
The price for this new open crown is, what catched me.
Hey Folks,
Greetings from Germany. I wanted you to show some pictures of a 'Ealing poet' 100% Wool. Color: Moss. The hat comes open crowned. That's fine to me!
Has the same dimensions like the Adventurer-Indy-Hat (fur felt).
Fine hat so far. Catches hairs like hell, as you can see on the...
Hello from Germany!
Does anyone have any experience with a wool hat called "Ealing Poet" from Christy's London?
I can't hardly find any information or Fotos of this hat on the internet.
Should be like the "adventurer fur felt" from Christy's....
Hi,
short question: does anyone know of a company called "Burselon silk"? I can't hardly find anything of these hats in the internet...
Has someone a link or something please?
Could someone do me a favour and call this Shop? It's a bit difficult for me as I am living in Europe. But you guys can call them without costs, right? Would be a big help for me.
I need to know if their hats come true size, if I have got 59 cm, if I should take the 7 3/8".
If they ship to...
When i saw the Stetson "Nostalgia" a few days ago, I was jumping around in joy. It's a shame. Thank you guys for the term "flange". Thats what i ment! ;)
With the Fed IV, I am sure about my true size and the quality of these hats. Would be so cool to see these hats with less brim width and more...
This brim width? What is it, 2 inch?

I could show pics of the brim-type I am referring, but I am not sure, if I am allowed to post pics of other users here...
"I have my Fed4 cutdown to not be a dimensional brim"
-> I think I cant do it by myself. And to send the hat from Australia to America or whereever, just to cut it down...
Hi,
I am searching for a hat, straight sided, non-tapered, classic look, would be the coolest delivered with opencrown. But this is not a "must". My favourite hat is the Fed IV, and I am looking for a hat like this (price, specs), only with less brim-width.
I saw the Stetson "Nostalgia"...
Hi,
I just wanted to show you the newest hat from AdVintage, a hat in the natural color from the beaver felt. Looks interesting, but I am really not sure, what color this is. The site describes the hat from grey to beige in different lights...
This is my main point. I need another hat, straight and tall like a fedIV but with a bound edge. And same price-dimension. Pics of the squatter let me think, that there is more taper on it. So i shouldn`t buy one of these.
Ouch, my english. I mean "with creases that differ from the indy-films!". So, other creases on a fedIV than an indy-crease.
I need photos from fed IV with other creases, like teardrop or diamond.
Did you find out something? I wonder, how he would stick to this date, after I read all the posts here. I am just planning to buy my first hat from him..
By the way: What´s about the taper of the crowns? I just saw his new pics of the green one, and it looks like he has streched it after...
