Hey guys,
I recently bid on a BNWT Y'2 jacket on a whim and won it, so ... well it's home and I tried it. I decided to share my (y')2 cents with yall.
PICTURES FIRST
The model is apparently an exclusive for "Unique Jeans Store", one of the many japanese stores I had never heard about. They...
I have that model in that last in that size and I hated the fit at first, especially in the toe area. Now that break in has occured I actually like them a lot. If you're having fit issue in that area consider giving them a go.
So I am the guy who bought that jacket off Japan, and traded it to Kuro when it didn’t work out for me.
I’m mad jealous
This morning I was googling to try to trace one in my size for a price I could pay (40 international / 42 jp) and found your post.
So glad it finally found a home.
Looking to sell, will entertain the idea of an exchange
RRL type 2 in tan rougout
Worn quite a bit but it looks about the same as when I bought it.
There is mild crocking under the armpits.
Not wearing it a lot anymore, streamliningmy wardrobe.
Size M. Fits my 185 pounds / 5'10'' / 41 inch...
I'm 5'10'' ish and 185, so slightly stockier $& shorter than you but not to a point where we'd fit significantly different clothes. I agree it's slightly roomy, especially in the shoulders and biceps. That's precisely why it works for me though because if it was smaller I wouldn't move around...
I have that jacket and it's amazingly good. You'll make one happy buyer!
BTW I'm typically sizing up to 42 in RMC but this jacket style works best on my at size 40.
Sound to me like you expected no consequence for holding up a sale. Of course you're only going to see your money back when a sale is made. It's not even an uncommon practice.
I also have a very hard time believing that you had to withdraw from the deal. You chose to chase another rabbit...
I was heartbroken that his Mobster didn't work for me but thanks to you it will find a new home, and I have acquired an equally amazing jacket in the trade.
Best of luck in those sales.
