    Shrink a Teamster?

Decided to take a hot water shower with it last night and then wear it around the house for a few hours. The family was convinced that I had lost my mind. Seemed to me like leather should be able to get wet without disintegrating, but the dryer option felt pretty risky, so I skipped that. I...

    Shrink a Teamster?

Mine is Vicenza leather.... maybe I'll start with just some warm water and see what happens before going with the nuclear dryer option.

    Shrink a Teamster?

Good question... I think even a little shrinkage would make it fall better on my shoulders.

    Shrink a Teamster?

Have a beautiful Teamster that I received late last winter (not much time to wear before the weather warmed up). The leather is gorgeous but the fit and shoulders specifically are just a little too big/boxy for me. I'm thinking about doing an accelerated break in with water... any chance...

    Aero Teamster in Battered Seal

Two days in wearing the jacket and really liking it. The buttoned cuffs were tight and hard to pull my hand through, so unbuttoning them helped a ton. Now to get this thing broken in!

    Aero Teamster in Battered Seal

Hah! I have a whole arsenal of them locked up in the safe, but that's about the extent of it!

    Aero Teamster in Battered Seal

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Really appreciate it. It's good to know that the shoulders might settle down a bit as I wear it in. I did the Harris tweed lining and it is actually quite warm!

    Aero Teamster in Battered Seal

Thanks to the outstanding service by Carrie at Thurston, just received my new CXL Teamster in battered seal. The leather and finish is exactly what I was hoping for. After selling an AL Roadster that was too short, I'm thrilled with the length of this jacket. This is a cold weather jacket, so...

    Need boot ideas

So many great options, so little time and money! LOVE the Trickers... the AE Dalton’s are great as well, but I’d have to replace the sole right away. Snow, salt and leather soles do not enjoy each other.

    Need boot ideas

With winter setting in, I need a good pair of boots that can handle the elements but work with business casual dress at work. I typically wear nice dark jeans and a dress shirt. Love my iron rangers but they have a very slippery sole and just aren’t quite dressy enough. Would love to find a...

Thanks Fanch. Working closely with Carrie, I took measurements on a Johnson leather jacket that I love the fit on. Those measurements lined up perfectly with the 40 Teamster and will give room for a nice sweater. Also decided on the Harris wool tweed in “autumn” color. I am thinking 28.5...

Carrie and I have been working closely and narrowed down to Teamster in size 40. After a lot of debate, I decided to go with a mid weight. Battered seal. Not a ton of pics out there of battered seal teamsters, but all the more reason it will be unique!

Sounds more and more like the jacket for me... personally, I'm not a fan of the taper.

I’ve narrowed down the decision to a size 42 Teamster in Brown FQHH. I love the look of tumbled, but figure I’ll just get there naturally. I’ll stick with my Johnson Leather cafe racer for a slightly shorter fall/spring jacket. Want to go with function and warmth on this one. I looked around...

Great feedback - glad to know I'm not crazy on the Dark Seal Vicenza seeming "flat". Brown FQHH was high on my list, so will definitely look closer there as well. That really reduces the decisions to figuring out what jacket style I want to go with. Still have my eye on that Teamster!

I received the fit jacket from Thurston yesterday. Initially I thought about moving a different direction all together (Teamster?), but trying it on again this morning I felt like it might work in a different leather finish. Here are my thoughts... would love your feedback. - collar seems a...

Thanks everyone. I have an order in with Thurston Brothers. Carrie is awesome to work with. They are sending a 1930s Half Belt (they modify to make it slightly longer) to try for fit in one of the Seal finishes. I'm leaning toward Seal Vicenza, but also looking at all the other browns...
