Fabulous hat Daniele. Somebody got lucky when it was too small for you.
Thanks Brent. IIRC this one came to me a couple of sizes large, missing the liner and with a detaching sweatband. I hit it with a lot of hot water and steam and put it on the block. It came out just the right size. Then...
Thanks Matt. Not sure if I've worn this one before. I'm a big fan of wool for all things clothing and except for high summer it is probably 85% of what I wear.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks Daniele. The season of coats and hats has arrived. Windchill of 32 F (0 C) at the moment and very damp from the 2" over overnight rain. Gotta love it. Ha ha.
You have been wearing some very nice hats lately. That heather was the bee's knees.
Thanks,
Michael
Woohoo, overcoat season is back. Ha ha

Had to pull out an overcoat for...
They do show off better this way. Unfortunately I wasn't going out this summer, so no real opportunity to wear ties. And now that it's winter I'm still not going out, but often wear a tie even if I'm lounging at home. To keep my neck warm if for no other reason. Ha ha.
Thanks,
Michael
Yes, they did. I'm sure this is the finest grey hat i have. Thanks
Thanks Stefan. Might be my second favorite suit. Designed in France, tailored in Italy.
That's good, because I definitely can't compete on the hat front. Ha ha.
Dang, that MacLachlan is a monster hat It is hard for it to...
Thanks Matt. It is a pity that they are often hidden. I like cool weather, but don't like being cold, so most often I do wear a sweater, sweater vest or vest during the prime tie wearing season. Today it is supposed to be almost summery, so this Faultless by Wilson Bros. is out in the open...
I thought it worked okay, hopefully it will for you as well.
As usual, a day late and several dollars short

Thanks Dave. It makes for a good vaping experience. Ha ha. The hat was made my a different maker than the robe, but I think they are the same age. And the robe dates to before WWI.
Michael
The chores are done for the day here and it's cool enough I figured it was time to look into the winter lounging gear.

I think that collar is called a Camp Collar. i think they came into style in the later 40s and through the 50s, mostly for sportswear. Also common on Aloha or Hawaiian shirts.

I just removed the paper clasp tag this morning before I put on the tie. It has a rampant lion and a T on it. Any ideas on the maker?

Thanks Perry. It's my favorite. And the weather finely is agreeable with wearing it. It's heavy.
Great looking Whippet for you today. Is that a vintage or modern?
