Hmm, knowing what I know now IMO. I would tell myself "don't do it". $1K+ is an absurdly amount on something like a jacket. It's not a performance car/bike part, nor an alpine expedition parka, or piece of military kit required for survival. Buy a few low price vintage jackets first to dial in...
Im giving him and eBay 1mth to figure it out and provide shipping for the item. Then its posted up here as a bargain sold as is HD Sportster 38/40 that needs repairs. Basically the dude opened the bottom hem and had someone attempt to tailor this classic jacket :(
Vicenza Aero blizzard I’m on the fence about keeping / selling. It’s kind of grown on me and it’s a nice change of pace from my moto styles. But if someone made an “offer I couldn’t refuse “....
I own / have owned all of these makers. IMO, since you're looking for fashion first, I would say Schott. Just find the size/pattern that fits you. However, if you said riding first, clearly Vanson patterns/materials/construction would be my choice. To me, Aero is in an interesting niche for...

Late 60s Schott Perfecto police jacket in handcut steerhide. In the rare Long size 42 and black blue bull cactus label. The regular 42 in this pattern has much shorter arms. Notable flaws; one small cut in upper back arm, some cracking at collar, needle holes from shoulder patch.
$300 shipped...

Probably do this. It’s already been sitting in my garage sealed in box for a week after USPS returned it back to me. Seller just sent a message saying where’s his jacket etc and I replied again with the I followed ebays direction and asked him again to send a shipping label and I’ll gladly...
Looking for some opinions from fellow loungers on my odd eBay situation surrounding a Harley AMF cafe racer jacket purchase that wasn't as described / clearly damaged. Also, the seller / item location was listed as NY, USA but when I checked the tracking # I see Toronto Canada customs etc...
This one is Sold pending funds. Heading to our neighbors up North.
And mr Tony, this isn't the one for you. I think you'd actually fit my 42 Langlitz perfectly. Long arms, wide shoulders, roomy chest, nice waist taper.....
