how long ago did you buy if you don't mind me asking? I think they also changed the sizing on these. So hard buying the Japanese stuff because of all the vanity and reverse vanity sizing. I think I'm a 44 in older models and definitely 42 in newer models. If you happen to know ptp and...
Holy snikeys. I can tell you that collar will cost at least $150 to have Cal make you new, probably even $200.
If you don't get any bites, lmk, maybe I'll buy the collar from you if you don't need. Just need to make sure it'll match what I got.
yeah, I'm not a fan of 618 (which is pretty much 118s) leather for fashion wear. Plus I like the hardware layout and length better on the 118. What you can do is what I did and downsize on the 118 and effectively make it a 118s (but you still have the footballs). I have a 40 with a 41.5 chest...
awesome. that lining is great. I had it in my 641xx. The leather assuming it's the 500 series is really nice, soft, pliable, but substantial. It has a bit of that scrotum texture though LOL. Medium should fit you as Tshirt only. I remember I had a large and it was on the big side. The...
Banana Republic suede trucker from yesterday. And the last in my collection (except the shearlings which are packed up), classic HD roadster.
Was fun taking all these shots from same vantage. Gave me some perspective as I'm able to compare side by side now. Liked a couple more than I thought...
1 inch is extreme. 2 inches is doable depending on softness/pliability of leather and other factors like gussets, arm hole position, etc. 3 is pretty safe and still pretty form fitting. 4 and above starts to look off to me.
If you go less than 3, what I've found is the shoulders need to be a...
Get the sleeves wet and hang the jacket out in the hot sun to dry. They'll come up a half inch or so. Plus just wearing the jacket over time, with the creases and all that, you'll pick up another little bit.
It's the Schott x 3-Sixteen collab. Some of the nicest leather ever. I'm guessing Lux, they say Horween CXL, but this is pretty tame and soft and thin top coat. Really nice details on the hardware, liner, etc. but definitely not an A2 military spec type jacket. Just a few wears and I have a...
Used Schott perfectos have best bang for buck. You can get older ones from 70/80s for like $300 quite frequently. Those will be shorter in length though. So I'd suggest a more recent 118 or 519 which are cut longer and the 118 also has a long version if you're over 6'2, might be a good...
I remember you selling it. Didn't Jin buy or was that someone else?
The one I got was from the guy who bought it at a thrift shop in Bay area for like $80 or something ridiculous like that. Was completely mint. Has the mutton collar, the throat protector and the badge holder in pristine...
very nice, yes. If you get one that was worn daily, in all the elements, etc. they are glorious. Or maybe there were certain batches better than others, I don't know. But when they're good, they're real good.
Bump in the night. Price drop to $210 ppff US only. Going back to the kiddo pile after this. Shoot, might even just wear around the house for shitzengiggles since it ain't the perfect fit. Too cool to give away.
