    They will last longer than you. I had two pairs of wesco over the years and got sizing wrong twice. If I remember correctly the boss with lug sole was more flexible than the jobmaster on 700 sole which literally didn't bend for the entire 6 months until I admitted they were too tight.

    They will always be heavy... Single midsole? Vibram outsole ? It will take a lot of wear for those puppies to flex.

    Good luck. I hope these work out. Heel lift is ok, but 'moving your foot around'....how much room have you got in the toe? Can you cinch the strap on to the tightest hole to make the heel fit a bit more snug?

    I use the instep strap to tighten my boots. I have to undo it to take them off and put them on. Of course it is functional, not just for decoration on originals and good repros.
