Big WOW, Harv. A 3X is always sweet, a wide ribbon even better, and a shark gill to boot! Love everything about this hat!
I find these light grey hats with the black ribbon go well with all sorts of colors, clothing wise, not just greys and blacks.
Just Outstanding information! Happy to put a name to these different weaves and patterns. I now know that my favorite boater weave is the "Rustic-Split"
You got me GHT. I love spectator shoes and will probably go the route you suggested, that is new. I've tried for years to get vintage to no avail. I like how you've paired them with more casual dress as this is how I would wear them most of the time.
I do prefer the brown and white to the black...
Another perfect "over the goggles" , rclark! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Any coolness I may have I picked up is from associating with You fine folks!
Back to this Borsalino again. It's the one I automatically grab when I'm running out. Brim down to mix it up a little
Bama, the Sovereign Twenty's are sweet hats and getting the Mode Edge is the icing on the cake! i've got three Sovereign Twenty's but only two are mode edge
I'm sure some marketing exec told them they need more "branding" ( Trust me, I work with these people on many marketing and add campaigns). Pretty sure these logo's on the ribbon don't come in til after the '86 sale of the company.
Branding or no that hat is a stunner, Dlaniger!
Much appreciated, GHT. Thanks. Pretty reasonable, too. Well, compared to the vintage hats I wear that is.
Now, if you can direct me to a source for spade soul shoes my life would be complete!
Took the hat off for the coal work, set it here, took pic and then washed up before I touched it again. I've done it so many times I'm pretty neat about it.
Still playing catch up. Great stuff, everyone!
GHT, once again love the whole look. I've got to get me some Spectator's.
Rclark, I'm with everybody else. The hommie looks great and great on you. I get that you don't dig them, though. I have three I never wear.
MM, that is one sweet Vita!
Moon, I...
