Nice Fruno! Aren't those thin ribbon Borso's sweet. So thin and light.
I think that logo, inside tag and the corrugated thingy place it post WW2 up into the sixty's. Similar to the three I have, I usually say 50's. Others may be able to narrow it down further
You are so right, Ole.
Once I figured this out I bought multiple hat blocks and modified them to mimic the shape as close as I could to specific hat block shapes. In particular I didn't want to change the shape and character of a hat like a Stratoliner or Playboy. Part of what makes these hats...
Some great looking hats as always, Folks! Love catching up
Following 40's lead with an old Borsalino
Looks a little warmer in color in the first pic. I promise it's the same hat

For the people who might spend this much on a hat and appreciate beaver felt (us) this seems like a big miss. I've got one more color in the Akubra Camp Drafts, I think I'll get that instead
Having bought three of the new open crown Stetson's I feel I've given them a chance. Found them wanting...
The classifieds here need a set price. Better to go with Ebay or a similar auction site and see what people will bid it up to. You can probably do better than $5 however, it is not of a style, manufacture, vintage or size that is likely to fetch big money
