I agree with the others, at least in general… BUT I think that could possibly work if you don’t mind breaking some rules. I do think it’ll all pull together, color-wise at least, by wearing that blue/white shirt and some black or gray shoes. Trust me it’ll be polarizing with everybody either...
I don’t generally buy into the supernatural but I don’t rule it out completely either. Lol Superstitions of old may be silly at best because I believe they tend to exaggerate themselves as they’re handed down. That said, I think lots of them were rooted in something true or at least relevant...
I understand what you’re saying, but I also believe that vintage hats like to be worn and seen. If it dies as a result then it’ll die happy. If it’s a historical museum piece then that’s an obvious exception.
I’m still a relative newbie with Fedora Lounge but I’ve got a feeling that most of us really wear our hats that we post. I can only answer for myself, but I wear the ones I post simply because I like to wear them.
I’ve got several felt bowlers I haven’t posted yet because it’s just too dang...

Yep that’s it - Les looks like he’s completely owning the look. Anybody who’s not familiar with him should check him out on youtube. He’s known for wearing some cool hats. He often wears a bowler on stage. He’s a stellar bass player too. Crazy good.
Now what you said about Crocs and not...
I really like the pith helmet. I understand that there’s nothing better for beating the heat. I recently saw a video of Les Claypool of Primus wearing what I think is the British version (comes to a point in front and back) in concert and thought to myself that takes a lot of confidence to...
I have the Hemp Strat and a Milan Latte if that helps. There’s a 1/2” difference in brim but otherwise I think they’re similar enough to compare materials.
I love both but I think the hemp feels more airy and limber in general than the Milan. The hemp weave feels very resilient and durable...
