Resistol in chocolate brown with black ribbon is the hat for this morning’s errands and work. It’s a versatile like-new and great-fitting hat that I think I should wear more often than I do.
Royal Stetson waiting for a lunch sales appointment to arrive. These hats are great for letting people find me easily in a restaurant. I just tell them to look for the guy in the hat. They find me every time.
Spending some quality time with my fawn Stetson Royal Deluxe bowler at the downtown coffee roaster this morning. It’s not vintage but it’s a great hat.
I think that's a great-looking hat. The medium gray with black ribbon on yours is exactly my favorite color combination. I've never worn a homburg but I would probably enjoy it.
Yes I agree this one's different in a good way. For my face/head I like hats with a brim over 1 1/2" and under 2 1/2". I like a 2" brim best of all and this is one, but there's something extra special about its felt and overall feel. I think I'll be seen in it quite often over the cool months.
Out running my appointments for work in my recently purchased gray 3X Stetson. I’m convinced that I’ve worn this more in the past week than it ever got worn in its previous 60+ years of existence.
That makes sense. Electric cars too. I guess it’s also possible that fewer employees at car dealerships are capable of driving stick shift cars around the lot.
I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for manual transmissions. Our family has no less than four of them, and did have five until my wife traded in her Z4 and couldn’t get it in the BMW she wanted. My two kids (now in their 20’s) own straight drives - and my daughter actually learned to...
In Boone for Dinner and a night Appalachian State football game. After an embarrassing loss last week we thankfully came back from behind and won this one. Maybe the Dobbs Bowler brought some good luck.
I’m very familiar with Brevard. It’s a great little town and beautiful scenery. We were a little further north between Spruce Pine and Boone on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s pretty cool because it’s only about a half hour drive from our house.
My lovely wife and I took some time to enjoy the fall colors. We’re in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I’m wearing my Roswell Stetson. It’s not perfect but it’s got awesome character and I love wearing it. It got a couple of compliments.
