    That's my baby Bob. I, too, am band saw challenged with a 4" max cut, hence the segmented block. I built this one to be able to interchange the crown tips without making a whole new block. Should be easy enough for Obi1 to replicate.

    Yep, I have one exactly like it. I thought it would be good for checking final size measurements, but it's not close to being accurate so it's been relegated to "conversation piece" status.
