Definitely helps to handle/wear to help decide and I feel if something is in my right size/dimension then I would have no qualms of getting another iron heart product.
Thanks bro I like it if only it was 1.5-2" shorter then it would have been even better fitting. It's 19oz and I feel every bit...
I am working on it, i hope the soaking I did the other helped with the length a bit but I haven't measured the jacket since. That IH corduroy looks cool, I never really had a corduroy pants/jacket so it's alien to me. I really don't mind the extra length, it's nice to wear something not so short...
Thank you guys. The longer length on the type 3 Jacket by Japanese makers seem to have that design element and to a certain degree to leather outerwear as well. The length was what prevented me before from trying them out and this jacket confirms it. If it doesn't fit so well in the torso, I...
I should have saved a screen shot, it was one of those post you shared that had multiple Ralphs Pugh in a row. Or was it a Seattle woolen? Can't remember anymore but I think it's a police jacket
I hope to get lucky for a black one in my size too. Hope you get yours too.
lol you guys are so funny with that but always end up making great deal/trades too
They do look the part even more now than when new.
How do you see the cognac Badalassi the Indonesian bootmakers use compared to the White Klouds? Are there different grades too like the shinki?
Super cool piece and write up. I can only imagine how good that must be. You and your bro's boot look killer. Tuning in to see the transformation and patina build up on these.
This would look so good together with that jacket you posted. Teacore is so nice after years of good wear.
Thank you @Psant25 The back length is what prevented me from trying them before, I still prefer the classic shorter body denim jackets but this is too nice to move on from. That's a lot of work for a denim jacket plus JL is swamped with SFPD jacket orders right now. My jacket is running 1 month...
New to me IH Type 3 19oz jacket from @MattinMD. Couldn't resist the iron heart temptation but now I know why this is so highly thought of. Longer in the body than what I'm used to wearing but I don't think it's too bad
Classic Highwayman jackets are notoriously hard to dial in. You have to get a size smaller for them, and then have it tapered because it's a square pattern. It only works for certain body types so I'm not surprised at all. Look into the Premier highwayman and the Sheene (cafe racer with collar)...
Super nice! My type of jacket, clean front/single back design. This piece is extra cool. This might be too relaxed fit for you, right? I think I'm a size 34 in these classic highwayman pattern
