    Thanks, all. I forgot about a few of these and TBH, I'm not looking for the higher priced ones so much. I'm really lookimg for any makers more in the spot between Wilsons and Schott. 5* has made two for me but with covid shutdown, they have given me the opportunity think about domestic options.

    [/ATTACH] So wait...I guess I missed previous discussion somehow...is this indicative that 5* is supposed to start carrying CXL HH, similar/same as the other Big Boy brands like Aero, etc? I took a quick look at the 5* website last night and didn't see anything about that. Exciting news.

    As stated, I'm thinking about having a crosszip made. I know that I want a low-profile one, rather than the "rock-star" type. To that end, it would have two handwarmer pockets, one external pocket with snap closure and one internal pocket. No epaulets, no external, zippered pocket(s), no studs...

    I've been doing some online searching in an attempt to determine what exactly I want from a local cobbler. I have a pair of Frye Prison boots and it's time to resole them. I do not want lug type soles nor crepe. I don't really care for the cork/rubber mix that I've seen pictures of online...
