    How is This Hairstyle Combed?

blow drying and shaping your hair into place (with a comb to steer it) is a way to add volume. you could also try blow drying the top forward, then styling it back with pomade.... that way the hair is going against the way it was dried which can give it some added uplift. having said that, if...

Show us your Munrospun, Braespun, Lochmarl etc. Ties!

Eddie, no there's no stitching. the dimensions are standard 30s-40s, but the label doesn't give a lot away in terms of dating. (the label is on the back of the thick rather than thin end).

BRITISH Belt-Back Suits and Sports Jackets

p.s. if it's just the stripes distorting that bothers you, there's always the option of a centre box pleat which keeps the stripes parallel: (in this case they haven't matched the stripes through the belt, but it could be done).

BRITISH Belt-Back Suits and Sports Jackets

a belt without pleats is a bit of a redundant feature though. i feel the point of the belt is to give that extra 'nipped in' look to the back which happens in tandem with the fullness of the pleats. (no disrespect to Freddie's suit intended ;) )

BRITISH Belt-Back Suits and Sports Jackets

another rare British belt back suit finds it's way into Freddie's collection ! very similar in style to the Burton's 1937 illustration on page 5 of this thread.
