    Really nice Vanson. Can I ask what the back length is on this jacket? It would seam to me this is the perfect length but my understanding was the PLU-3 added 3 inches to the length of the standard Comet which would make the original jacket crazy short!

    Very nice, I share your dislike of short zippers. I considered buying a used boardracer and having the zipper replaced but I am not sure how much work is involved. Anyone have experience with this?

    Interesting that this 42 measures slightly smaller than the 40 Enfield currently listed in the classifieds by GST. Both very nice jackets at a reasonable price.

    "Led astray" LOL, no I cant blame you for that, I'm still a big fan. My only regret is not getting a shot at either of those two jackets...I will have to do a better job of keeping an eye on the classifieds. Look forward to seeing the Sheene when the time is right!

    Simmons Bilt makes my favorite version of the J100. Its the only one Ive seen that doesn't have the large "splay" at the bottom of the zipper which I don't care for. What are your thoughts on their Shinki El Marro?

    Lovely jacket. I had to make a choice between an Enfield and a Schott 689 a few years back. I went with the Schott and have grown to regret it. Can you advise if the back length provided is from the collar seam or the top of the collar? What is your height and are you happy with the length...
