As far as moto leathers go I have a couple for bumping around town in some padded, some not.
But as blasphemous as it sounds my favorite for touring (a lot of opportunities here in Alaska to get lost) is the Aerostich riding suit. It is ugly as hell but I get seen on the highways, it's fully...
I dunno maybe crazy is a coarse word with too wide a boundaries. All I know for sure is I love hunting and shooting, but I see wayyyyy.... too much gun violence here in "urban" Anchorage, Alaska. Check out the phrase "Spenard Divorce", it's a real thing ya'll.
All that being said, I am a proud gun owner and hunter. Here is last years moose and my trusty 1903 Springfield built in 1917 and still the best bush rifle I own. Great at 100 yrds with peep sights.
In Alaska, I can walk into a Fred Meyer (grocery megastore) and buy an AR15 & several hundred rounds of ammo. After a 30min background check and some Federal paperwork I can walk out the front door with it all. It's crazy .... crazy how easy and quick it is to acquire an assault weapon here in...

Just got my Eastman Hartmann and for the most part love it. Leather has great feel and construction is tight. I am just not used to wearing a jacket this trim fit. I want to know what you guys think about the fit. I am mobile in it and know the cut is intended to be a more "fit" jacket...
I have a Goodwear A1 that is one of my favorite jackets, the capeskin is buttery soft and wears incredibly well. Only issue with GW is the wait, but ohhhh... it's worth every penny.
I have a high level of client interaction, one in particular always refers to my jackets as looking "snappy". But hey, it's easy to overdress for business here in Alaska. We're not really known for our style.....
Here is a snippet of my collection. They are WWII AAC/USAAF flight helmets and headgear mostly used by the 8thAF (including some adopted RAF gear). Needed to snap a photo of my newest addition of the British Type E oxygen mask (middle right in photo) rigged for AAF planes. A rare jewel.
