Thanks!!
They used to give you the measurements if you asked, at least a few years ago, but the last time I tried I was refused because they were supposedly in the process of reviewing some of their patterns.
A few pics of a 70s Schott CR I recently got for a few hundred pounds. A nice and trim fit and not broken in yet. Actually prefer shorter sleeves, so was quite lucky in that regard as well.

By the way, does Horween Lux lose its top-coating quickly? Would my jacket still look black after a few years of normal wear? I think I would prefer if the top-coating didn't wear off too quickly, unless that's exactly the point of teacore?
An amazing Aero CR. Would probably buy it asap if it were a few sizes smaller.

How do you like the Horween Lux horsehide? I'm considering ordering a jacket in that leather, another option being their CXL steer.
They have indeed changed at least some patterns, over-sizing them and getting rid of the tapering. Wasn't exactly impressed myself when receiving a size 38...
Thanks! Simmons Bilt added it to their lining options recently. They have it in burgundy and if it is indeed softer as well, then it looks like a pretty interesting lining choice.
There's no right answer here. My Simmons Bilt cross-zip is almost as grainy and I absolutely hate it, whereas some people seem to love the ultra grainy look. Personally much prefer smoother hides.
All right, thanks for your answer. If you change your mind and decide to sell it at some point, even if it is at a higher price, I'd probably be interested.
Huh? 20.5" or 21" is a pretty standard P2P for a size 38. Check the official spec sheet of Schott 613/618, for example. My cafe racer in size 38 measures 51 cm, measured flat, from one end to another, just like you said one should measure. This is actually even less than 20.5". Aero's slim fit...
Probably the best looking jacket I've seen so far, just amazing. Nothing beats a BR.

A quick question about the chest measurement.. Something I have wondered before as well.. Shouldn't it be measured from seam to seam, hence effectively reducing the current measurement of 21" (on the photo) to around 20" or even less? Not nit-picking, might actually be interested in the jacket...
