Thanks Steve, no, that was a Düsseldorf find. A lot of hats crossed my way in Düsseldorf but nothing worth to buy it. The conditions of these hats are more as bad. Cracked Sweatbands, paint spots on the felt and some to expensive for a fleamarket.

Thanks Steve, indeed the condition is like new. That is a sign for rarely worn-A must have in this time ( 60s)
but then not more modern !

Nice news and Hats Gentlemen. Great Hückel Mike. Stefan great find too!
I have also found a new one. A Wegener Colonel in Gray/Green with green ribbon.
A stingy brim and very common in the 60s.

Thanks Steve!
That is what I found.
Translation
Strass (also Stras) refers to glass stones made of lead-containing glass flux (enamel), which have been used since the 18th century as imitations of diamonds. Earlier were also not considered rhinestone, because crystals from the Rhine as the first...
awesome stuff the last few weeks, Gentleman,
but Steve top it all with his always rare finds.
Super enamel placard Steve.
Nothing new on the Hat front in Germany.
Not the right weather for nice trips to fleamarkets.

Thank you Mike, I guess it's one of the 70s - Old logo Liner and a small logo of Mayser on the sweatband could be a indication for this time periode! The newer generation has only the Mayser name on the sweatband!
