That would definitely be a problem! When I spoke to Aero, they stated that if I give the brown a few years to break in, it will give me the look I am going for better than any of the others, so I think thats the way I will go. Confused about Aero's FQHH Guarantee
The aero guarantee states: What do they mean by guaranteeing the leather itself? Are they guaranteeing the color, the wear of the leather, etc.? I cant imagine that if I order a FQHH jacket and the leather tears 50 years from now that this would possibly fall under their warranty, but...- JLStorm

I talked to Amanda again today (she has been SO helpful) and she stated that they could put in a zipper on the inside as a substitution for the inside buttons and then keep the outermost buttons! I think this would work just wonderfully! Im still waiting on placing my order though. BTW...- JLStorm

I was thinking of asking them about a zipper, but then I couldnt really figure out where it would zip. Since its double breasted, it makes a zipper somewhat difficult. You have any ideas? Seems like we probably travel about the same. I fly about 8 - 12 flights a month, but dont work...- JLStorm

Well, I talked to Amanda today and she said that the Barnstormer is actually warmer than the B3! I would have never guessed that by looking at them. I'll ask them about some customization and see what they say. Its a very expensive jacket though...very expensive :(- JLStorm

lol....your gonna hate this, but its just not my style. Why cant they make something like that in a b3 type jacket...why! EDIT: The more I look at the barn stormer the more I think I would like it if the belt wasnt there an the collar was enlarged...so its a possibility...but it really doesnt...- JLStorm

I just heard back from Schott today, they said to alter my 184SM in the way that I wanted it would cost over $1500.00 USD and really wouldnt be financial worth it. They suggested I look at their 257S: I emailed them back letting them know that in a size 50 or 52 the 257S would cost...- JLStorm

Questions about oilcloth/oilskin duster
I used an australian oilskin duster for years with the wool insert during the winter. It kept me warm and dry in the worst of weather. How much thicker/heavier are the hides on Lost World jackets than other companies?
Sorry for the repeat question...I did a bunch of searches on "lost worlds" and didnt find any threads with more than a post or two claiming that LW was to thick for them...any idea as to the location of these past threads? Thanks :D- JLStorm

In another thread of mine I am requesting a company that makes a very tough shearling jacket. It was brought to my attention that Lost Worlds seems to have the thickest and heaviest hides (at least for their shearling jackets).
