Well maybe so, but aren't most of these patterns decades old and been copied by many makers? I get what you are saying but some how I doubt Aero are suffering from a loss of trade, still a fair waiting time for their jackets I believe. I would add that SB have in fairness to them tweaked a lot...
I believe he is too. I did go with SB rather than Aero simply because of price! I totally get why some here find them disagreeable but I feel it a little unfair on the great hard working folks there who are just trying to make a living. The bad guys in jail now so let it go and move on! Well...
That's a wonderful collection, especially the Russet Seven. The Thedi and Aero jackets are definitely on another level when compared with the upmarket high street branded jackets.
I have just finalised my classic bike jacket with Debs. She always responds to my emails the following day between 9 and 10pm. No issues what so ever, professional and friendly service. Wait is around 4-6 weeks.
Great idea for a thread but at what point do we say a jacket has developed enough patina/character to justify posting here? My HWM is a couple years old now and beginning to show some age but not enough to tell a story so to speak.
I have an A1 in Capeskin. Great jacket, light and easy to wear. Would'nt worry about the knits they'll last years before they replacing. I am pretty sure you can reuse the same holes when attaching new knits too, in fact they can and have to, weaken the leather if not.

The Cordovan is very nice but you cannot beat regular dark brown, it gets more beautiful with every wear. I'd go brown for my first jacket and the get a cordovan later.

No regrets really, couple of mall jackets and one from Territory Ahead USA (step-up from a mall jacket). If it had not been for these "lesser" jackets I would not have come across Aero, BK, Eastman, Thedi and the fedora Lounge come to that!
