    Great info, thanks! I am considering a pair of Midas engineers in Badalassi now. The instep looks a little high, but the rest of the proportions look a lot better than some of the Indo boots I’ve seen. EDIT: Midas don’t do wide sizes :( And congratulations on the upcoming wedding, too!

    That's helpful, thanks. So woodsman and logger have a sweeping curve, while the packer is like a western/Cuban straight angle? Do you think just removing the celastic cup would be enough or would some leather also have to come off the vamp before it is re-attached? I'm not sure if I should ask...

    Quicksilver five pocket cords have a nice cut - higher waist and a true straight leg. Construction is mediocre and the fabric isn’t that tough, but for the price they are pretty good.
