I'm glad I kept my pops old toys. THE PENNSYLVANIA, 6200 looks great.
The Steam engine; that was a rough cast project. My pop machined and finished it and hand crafted boiler that goes with it as well, to scale.
Thanks for taking some great pictures Kurt, got a good feel on the hat, and I...
Well, I have 2 more Strat like hat orders to fill. And I am getting to a granite beaver now. And blocking up a Pecan for Rodney.
I have you following in line, undecided at this time, on specs.
The UK ORDER......that is interesting to me as well. The first picture the gentleman showed me was...
I had to escape....
Anthony. I like that hat. It's really sharp looking. Is that a 1/8 pencil curl. Just wondering, I bought irons, but didn't mess with them yet. Just curious on that, if cool to ask.
ANTHONY.....Accepted and appreciated. I understand and it's all good. You will see those pictures soon. And I look forward to hearing from you for sure! Have a good night. Thanks again.
I was typing my message, while some stuff was still going on in the thread, I didn't even know you guys were still jabbing each other.
What I'm saying is I'm writing from the heart and I look back and say oh man. What is going on.
Please, let's try to enjoy every thing that is good about this...
I'm looking forward to good positive responses and a harmony as well. One thing is for sure, sometimes written words sting more so that actual conversation. We are going to have that at times. But adults we are, and we see our errors and nobody holds permanent grudges. That is a focal point...
If I might take one moment to thank everyone. I'm also looking forward to the next oics. I am using my father's old toys in the props.
First off this is the Second making of the "Midnight Ryder". DANIEL wanted a flat lying brim and not much curl. He is a long oval, so I had to do some...
Thanks. I just read that post. Since 2012 nobody ever said anything to me regarding my posting. I've been a baltent violator and no clue! Thanks for making me aware of that. Hats off to you all, have a good day.
MIKE-KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Sorry if I offended you, or anyone here on YOUR thread...
Those quarter panels are like 9 feet long. I've been told it looks better than factory. But I did them by hand. No airfile. Very thin coats of filler, some tricks of the trade for "body feel". You'd be suprised what you can feel under a thin cloth barrier, with your eyes closed, and not a sound...
I have a 67 sport coupe. There is a picture on my instagram. Great car. I built that car. Got it in 82. It was my uncles. In family documented since 67.
Hello. I can't hyjack Michaels thread, because it has been done to me by a person very involved here. And I won't take this any further. Perhaps I will PM you in the morning, after a nights rest, which is after a very trying day over hats. I work all day long trying to make it happen. My issue...
I am just responding to the fact that a bartender told him not post as a vendor. Why would they say that? I never got any words like that from anyone. That's all.
Bob, I have 2 staple rabbit in hand color, rust.
Gladly make you a hat, and do a fantastic pounce, and luring. Would provide a superior product. If you don't like it, send it back and I'll refund you on the price of the hat. If interested let me know.
Currently I've secured several thousands yards of hanks, upward to 30,000 yards in various width so I am told. Its all getting boxed up and ready to ship. I have to see if it might be cheaper to rent a uhaul and pay fuel. Vs shipping....
I posted some pictures to Instagram of the 3 way brim on this last pecan hat that I made. Please follow me there.
