Check out Dachstein sweaters, the Austrian military used them, so you can find them reasonably priced as surplus here and there. I have one and it's the warmest sweater I've ever owned, that and a base layer keeps me very warm in upstate NY winter.
Good to know, I'd like to get a 9d, or maybe even a Dakota Barn coat, and have been considering upgrading to the fancier leather. Would love to see an example with a year or twos wear on it.
No experience with those, but Wesco makes a nice romeo for about $200. The looks are a bit, um, polarizing, heh. Great shoes, and the raptor wedge soles are awesome too, a little stiffer than vibram christy, and the grip is amazing, especially on wet surfaces.
Orchard street in the lower east side of NYC was kind of a bargain district for clothes, and definitely for leather jackets. Not sure if that's where the name came from, but it's certainly possible.

Would match an RZ350 nicely.
Careful with sizing on those. Mine fits smaller than other schotts. I have a 141 in a 42 that fits great, but my 689h is a 44 and it fits trimmer than the 141.
Speaking of Apparel Annex stuff, did anyone here grab this one? I'd intended to make an offer, but life is full of distractions.

Looks like an amazing jacket.
