Thanks! I have an cxlsh original Hercules in the works, had wanted melton lining, but the folks at aero thought it would be too thick. They’ve suggested the corduroy which I’m sure would be fine as well.
I've got a DRAC with the z150 hide. It's a bit thinner than the comp weight, but otherwise pretty similar. I use the jacket for warmer weather on the bike, so it's perfect for that.
Any ill effects from the Pecards? Or the mink oil for that matter @Canuck Panda ?
I like that mine have become somewhat duller with use, wouldn't want to add any shine.
The neck issue is a funny one. I have it a little on my aero Sheene, but only when zipped up, and not at all on my aero teamster, which rests perfectly on my shoulders. I also have it on a vanson cross zip, but not at all on my other vansons. Lots of variables, but definitely not a strictly...
Couldn't help myself, just ordered my first custom Aero. Original Herc, brown CXLSH, melton wool lining. Hopefully it'll be a bit warmer and heavier than what I have now...
Hi Claybertrand,
Thanks for the offer! Yours might actually fit me a bit better than Lopos. I'll give it some thought. As I mentioned to him, I'm not so into the front pockets, but otherwise these look like amazing pieces. I can totally understand how it didn't get much mileage in LA...

I'm not a huge fan of the cargo pockets on the front, but I do love the utility of the shearling lining, thinsulate, and mouton collar...
How is the fit for you Werner? What sizes do you normally wear? It would make sense to have a warm jacket like this a bit larger to accommodate other winter layers underneath.
I'd love to try something like this for upstate NY winters.
Thanks,
Eric
