Scored a vintage on eBay...Of course this hat scholar has yet to research the name as it is new to me! Funny. Thinking about a charcoal color and there it was...And in my noggin's size! Gents! I could use your feedback! Thanx! :) A few links tat are related...
1. Ha! They know the deal! My grows larger as the day progresses! 5th Graders! Gotta love 'em! :)
2. The hat was 'brought to life' by Tonyb (Tumwater Hats).
Thanx so much! The brim is 3" the crown is a hefty 6" (unabashed). It's Western weight in Natural. If it 'looks' as if I'm singing the praises of Tonyb...Well...:D
Great showings today gents! I continue to be awed!
My student: "Dr Q. You are too cool for school..."
Me: I know. But you're not! And you're late for my class!!"
Gotta love 'em!
Happy 'Tumwater' Monday...
Akubra Banjo Patterson Outback. Top shelf shape. Size 7 1/2 or 60. Nice Heritage Felt. The sweat is as soft as...Well..You know! A little snug for me (6 3/4 X 8 1/8) although I wear a 7 1/2. So, I hate simply let it sit and get no head time. Beautiful Fawn color. Asking $125.00...
Gentlemen!! Thank you!! Can't say enuff about one of the Master Hatters! Gotta long way to go to catch up with you fellas! But I'm having fun and learning while getting there! :D
Yes. It does does look 'greenish' on my computer also. The lighting does make a difference. The color is nice to have in collection but not certain if I'd own another taupe 'flavored' hat again. It would have to trully be a knockout! :)
