Have had Premiere OR on order for months, one made it to store but didn't pass inspection. Mr Deckard to address personally but no recent updates. Have not known of pure beaver fur felt OR since 100s of late 1970s.

Also remember the felt bodies were "aged" a great deal more in vintage times than modern ones are. The felting continued, sometimes like in Stetson's case for up to a year, before the bodies were used.
Modern manufacturing & economics cannot tolerate tying up cash in the system for that length...
Nobody really knows the content of HatCo Stetson hat bodies. They keep that a highly guarded secret. You don't know beaver content so it hard to judge just what is beaver/rabbit blend or pure rabbit fur felt with HatCo Stetsons. Now Akubra & Borsalino have done mostly rabbit fur felt & get great...
Shudde Bros did some refurb work so check behind the sweatband. The box looks like it could be older than that style of sweatband with the intertwined ribbon. Nice snag anyway you spin it tho.

The Bushman & the Fed4 have enough crown for the length of your face. The other 2 are lacking so the symmetry is off a tad. The Fed4 looks best of the 4 on you.
Looks sweet to me Matt! I have the Premier in Silverbelly & Mink, didn't get the Cornhill because I have a Biltmore & a Beaver Brand in similar shades.
Akubras are rabbit & rabbit/hare blend. They do have 1 model that had some beaver blended in but don't think it took off that well.
