What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

For me the sausage effect extends from shoulder through my arm on most of my jackets, it’s part of why I like the Filson vests so much. I have been considering the LL Bean commando sweaters but been leery because of tightness concerns. I’ll check out those henleys you shared @Cornelius thanks!

Identify this vest from Ali express

Also having just looked around a bit, the back pockets aren't really so bad. Especially on the textile versions they don't stand out as much.

Identify this vest from Ali express

Its a nice one Nice enough to put it on the backburner for a potential JL made down the line, but without those back pockets. Doesn't the opening over the middle button lead to a large pocket?

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Been greatly desiring a padded jacket and considering JL / Langlitz / Vanson. I think the spot work looks cool and Thedi is hard to beat. Updated measurement pics actually looked spot on for me, fingers crossed!

    The Deck Jacket thread.

@Cornelius those jackets (and generally all the stuff at SM Wholesale) looks great. Like a good functional repro but not as high cost as Buzz Rickson or Real McCoy

    The Deck Jacket thread.

Got this A-2 recently. Centre manufacturing, not the earlier Bedford cord style so maybe from later 60s or 70s. Really good condition, pleasantly surprised by the knits which weren’t clearly pictured. Nice cut for moving about and layering but still comfortable on an active chilly morning with...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

It felt like committing personal blasphemy but I’ve been thinking this Thedi is a little big in the body as perfect fit brain won’t turn off. Then it got cold when the sun went down and there was a perfect amount of space to comfortably wear a warm vest with it buttoned AND sprint after the...
