Everything is nice about it except the sweatband needs to be rejoined. Brim is just shy of 3" at 2-7/8 making it the biggest one I have. Open crown is 6". Colour is dove grey with black shark gill ribbon.

This is what it looks like. Leather seems soft. I posted pictures of the rest of the hat in "new hats".
I figure that I gently open the sweatband out and look at how it was stitched then work from there, at least sufficient to close it up until I can get to a proper hatter.

The stitching holding the sweatband (joining each end of the sweat, not the stitching attaching it to the hat) of a hat I just got is very loose/about to come out.
I would like to stitch it back together rather than sending it off, but was just wondering if there are any tips or links to help...
