I thought this would interest a few of you on here...selling reluctantly because I just never get the chance to wear this anymore. Very 'retro' 40s inspired design on this piece!
It's a fabulous double breasted flannel suit made by Cheshire Bespoke, one of the very last factories in the UK...
Thought this may interest some of you guys on here. Reluctant sale but just too snug for me!
Gorgeous Suitsupply Bleecker Overcoat. A really rakish, stylish overcoat. Real 30s style lapels. Very soft shoulder construction - quite Italian.
I changed the buttons on the entire coat from the...
I have owned A2s from both. The Aero I got was the cheapest they make, the 15142 Real Deal from seal jerky. It was a superbly constructed jacket - no doubt about that. My only reservation was with the leather, which I felt was too thick, stiff and heavy for an A2....the Vicenza leather I believe...
The wait time for my extra long A-2 was only about 10-12 days. I was under the assumption that it would take 11-12 weeks, but this wasn't the case! They also had way more stock regular sizes than I assumed...they were able to ship out a 44R to me for next day delivery to try on. Very quick...
I saw these as well back when I was looking N3-Bs. I don't think it's mil-spec, as it has too many buttons on the front - the authentic jackets only have four buttons, most civillian versions (including the Alpha) have five.
The best looking cheaper repros I came across were all on Rakuten at...
I suspect this is something to do with having to pay for the costs of the new factory they moved into earlier this year.
I doubt it’ll effect the demand - every time I speak to Rob, it sounds like the factory is working at maximum capacity as it is and demand is sky high!
My Eastman B-6 in progress...glad I ordered before the price rise. Crikey - £849 to £1049 in a week! :O
This is a regular size 46 which Rob had made for me so I could get the body and sleeve lengths correct for the final jacket. Flip flops are optional of course! :D
The sheepskin is terrific...
Thanks everyone, I'm thrilled with the jacket - will get some much better shots when I can actually wear it outside. It's simply too warm, and I'm not so sure it looks good with shorts! :D
Hi guys,
Just wanted to show you all my latest acquisition that arrived in the mail yesterday. It's just sensational!
I've been around a few pre owned Aero and Eastman A2s over the past year or so, but none have ever felt right, notably when it came to length. I'm tall (6 foot 3.5) and the...
Just gorgeous. Now I'm torn...I really like both the Roughwear and the standard one. Just not sure if it's worth the extra £200!
Can't beat the 1/4 inch shearling though...I had that Aero B6 with 1/2 inch shearling which was very nice but ultimately too thick for my tastes. It wore and felt...
@El Marro thats one beautiful jacket you’ve got yourself there! What colour would you say it is in real life? That looks more like a shade of mid brown...chimes with the memory I have of trying it on in London!
I've finally sold enough old clothing, electronics and general crap that was cluttering up our house to fund a brand new Eastman sheepskin. It's amazing how much money stuff can sell for if you take the time and effort to get rid of it!
To 'reward' myself, I'm going for a B-6. However, I just...
It's a much nicer looking jacket in real life than on the photos on their website! Lovely redskin colour.
I don't know how much appeal it'll hold though, especially at any price over $1000. The problem with these is that they're priced too closely to a repro Eastman or custom Aero B6, and both...
