Uhh.....
Well, I would circle back to Brent's post above and to Scientific Hat Finishing, which is essentially a pamphlet on setting up a hat repair shop.
I'm not sure what you're trying to do and why you think a brim press will make the edge treatment you're pointing out in the video.
No, that tool is for curling the brim. There is no all in one tool that will allow you to put that kind of curl into the brim while you are pressing it. Those are two different parts of the process.
If you have not already, this would be a good time to read Scientific Hat Finishing
Oh, you need a brim shackle or tolliker.
It will probably be hard to replicate a curl like that. But you need a tool like this:

No steam needed to put that Diamond in. You push the felt and it stays. My 7xCB is likewise very malleable and can easily be...
It is! I asked my dad if we had any and he had to think about for a bit. A lot of the slides that were in the same box I had never seen because I don't even think we had a slide projector left by the time I was born in 84.
Digitized some old family slides....
Nobody is really quite sure when this is, but the city eventually widened the street and that sign unfortunately had to go. The shop opened in 1946.
Pres. Truman motorcade. So these ones were 1948 (click for higher res)
Nice diamond this guy has going on!
...wanted to circle back around to this one.
There are face shape guides on the interwebs, and there is some truth to them, but IMHO they are more like broad suggestions than hard and fast rules to be followed to the letter.
We are primarily vintage enthusiasts, which is a bit of a different...
