    Yes, thanks for that, that's what I meant, I know it was a lighter version of it and just ran through the description. I knew I seen it before on their site. Personally, I wouldn't spend that amount of money on this hat, for $10.00 more you can buy the full fledged Strat.

    I think is authentic, at least the insignia and the braid seem authentic to me and I would feel comfortable with it. Your best bet would be to approach the VFW, DAV, or the American Legion in your town. They are pretty good with historical information. I tried to find information online, but...
