Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

Seems true to size, with the caveat of "if the numbers in your size don't work for you, moving up or down probably isn't going to either".

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

Doh, Desolation Row states they are all sold out of the Mulholland in a 40 -- guess it's not meant to be!

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

All depends on what you like or need, they are all super nice in their own way.

The RMC Shinki that I've seen has been quite lightweight. Lighter than the Aero vicenza for sure. RMC Shinki + cotton lining would be fine in east bay IMO. About as warm as a Levi jean jacket I think.

The RMC car coat is similar but lighter and has longer sleeves: https://www.realmccoyslondon.com/us/leather-car-coat.html I'm actually a bit tempted by it as well.

The brakeman is great, but too warm for where I live. Those sizes are weird, I would actually email them to confirm.

I would do vintage black, yes. I am not positive there are differences in ‘17, but sometimes manufactures tweak the size on a pattern year to year so I want to be sure.

Oh man, that sky blue CR is amazing! Ok, for posterity here are the measurements for the '17 run of the Mulholland Size 38... Shoulder 46cm / Width 54cm / Length 62.5cm / Sleeve 64cm size 40... Shoulder 48cm / Width 55cm / Length 64cm / Sleeve 65cm size 42... Shoulder 50cm / Width 56.5cm...

I'm like 5'11" and 165lbs so I can sometimes skirt by in the larger sizes -- we shall see. It's usually the sleeves that do me in, they need to be at least 25 and 25.5 is better, which is doable but not common.

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

I’m waiting to hear back from them on sizing and availability, but if the numbers work I’m pretty sure I’m going too.

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

    I know, I know...but just because it's from the 30's doesn't mean it *has* to have a half-belt.

I wonder if Himel Bros hve ever made something like this... They have some styles I've seen not listed on their site. I'm going to ask!

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

Totally agree! It's not a design I've seen before. I love the 30s vibe and, most importantly, it doesn't have a half-belt back.

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

Thank you! I now see the link on Desolation Row for international customers. Hopefully I can get some definitive sizing information on the Muholland. A lot of the vendors list the measurements, but they all very. So it *might* be perfect in a 38 or 40, or nope... ain't going to work. With the...

Freewheeler jackets, possible outside of japan?

I really like the new Mulholland by Freewheeler (their hats are cool too) but have no idea if it's possible to order these from the US. Anyone know of a online vendor that can ship to the US? Interestingly from what I can find on sizing, they seem to run a little big. I'm normally a 40 but...

RMC Shinki HH -- always so shiny?

I really like the GW Modoc but can't do the 2 year wait.... The back of the Himel is too busy for me, yet the front is great. I always like the front of the 30s half-belts, but most lose me on the back. I much prefer a more moto style back.

RMC Shinki HH -- always so shiny?

Well, I guess it's a moot point, the sleeves on a 40 are just 25" and I need at least 25.5 - 26". Too bad, I really like the style on the Steinbeck Sports Jacket. Normally I don't like half-belts either. Anyone make a similar cut? I know about the aero, but something about that one doesn't work...

RMC Shinki HH -- always so shiny?

I'm Looking at the pictures of the RMC jackets -- and while they are super cool, the shiny part is not so cool to me. Does this wear off quickly and become more of a matte finish? Aside from that, they seem great albeit quite expensive.

    Boom! HD content ...

D'oh! That is just my size too... guessing those Bates are too.

    Real McCoy Buco J-25?

I really dig the back design, but I agree that the bunching up thing is kind of painful. Maybe in person it's not that bad...
